Smith, Canadian, Texas, USA.The 22 foot tall arrows are part of the Quanah Parker Trail and mark key locations associated with the Comanche people and their last chief, Quanah Parker. The marker near the town of Canadian commemorates a family account that Pete Nocona (Quanah’s father), died of an old war wound while picking plums on the Canadian River and was buried in the Antelope Hills. http://quanahparkertrail.com
