People exploring pale purple coneflowers (Echinacea pallida) and prairie remnants as part of Native Prairies Association of Texas (NPAT) hike, Lake Ray Roberts State Park, Isle du Bois Unit, Sanger, Texas, United States, USA.
The park lies in an ecotone between the Eastern Cross Timbers, the Blackland Prairie and the Fort Worth Prairie support many species present here which extend out of the Blackland Prairie to the east, and the sandy alfisol prairies to the northeast.
