Volunteers working to save rare plants in the the thin-soiled, xeric environment of a limestone prairie ecosystem found in North Texas's few remaining undeveloped escarpments. This rescue is a collaborative effort between the Botanical Research Institute of Texas, the Blackland Prairie Chapter of Native Prairies Association of Texas, and the initial locators of this site: Akash Munshi and Randy Johnson with the Blackland Prairie Restoration Club. The property will soon scraped and developed. Rescue conducted with permission of landowners.
